Setup Instructions

To get started all you need to do is add the following MX records to your DNS:

  • mx1.poplogic.com
  • mx2.poplogic.com
  • mx3.poplogic.com

The records should be assigned a higher priority number than your existing server.

Do-It-Yourself Instructions

Generally you will add MX records in the same place you manage your DNS – which could be:

  • at your domain registrar
  • at your webhost
  • on your webserver
  • at a DNS management service

Setup Examples

Below you will find several screen shots that provide an example of what a properly setup domain should look like. Please note that it’s OK for the preference number to vary.

It’s only important that our records are set to a HIGHER priority number than your primary server. Some hosts use the term “preference number” – it’s the same as “priority number”.

Depending on your DNS provider you may need a trailing . after each record. Take note of the existing records and add the new records in the same format.
